Since 2004, Spencer Sylvester, a Southern California native, has been building high-end custom homes.  His love for home-building started at an early age as he walked job sites with his father, a general contractor in San Diego County. 

By the time Spencer was 25-years-old, he had obtained his General Contractor’s License and began working on several large remodels and custom home builds in Rancho Santa Fe.  

His passion for home-building expanded into the world of architectural and interior design.  In 2015 Spencer was contracted to build a custom home and a spec home in a coveted neighborhood at the top of Crystal Cove.  Spencer brought artful architectural design ideas to the table, traveled across the state to find the highest quality stone slabs and finishes, ensured both homes contained cutting edge technological features, and selected furniture and decor to compliment the architectural beauty of each home.  

As Spencer’s projects in Crystal Cove progressed, he developed relationships with many subcontractors, suppliers, and well-known interior designers. With each walkthrough with homeowners and prospective buyers and meetings with construction professionals, Spencer began to develop a reputation as an honest and insightful contractor with a “no holds barred” work ethic.

By 2019, Spencer had commenced building on a third home in that same coveted neighborhood in Crystal Cove and was also in the process of completing an incredibly unique, architectural digest-type home in a highly exclusive community in Palm Springs. 

Since the beginning of his career, not much has changed.  Spencer can still be counted on to find the best and highest quality finishes for your home. He will continue to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with subcontractors and, although his business has become too large to design and stage the interior of homes himself, he works with several of Orange County and LA’s highest regarded interior designers. 

Perhaps most importantly, Spencer’s continued passion for his work and tireless effort to find exactly what the home owner is imagining, coupled with his warm demeanor, sets him apart.  You can find him on the job-site chuckling with subs, reviewing plans with homeowners, and instilling his love for the art of home building in his two little girls, who often visit him on the weekends before his wife pulls him off the job for some family fun and relaxation!
